OPENING DAY IS FINALLY HERE!

Last night we saw the baseball season kick off with the biggest rivals of the sport facing each other: NY YANKEES vs BOSTON RED SOX. And of course, whenever those teams play each other, anything can happen. Last night's game was no exception, with the Yankees jumping out to a big lead, only to blow it to the Red Sox and losing the game. Let the fireworks begin!

The weekend was a pretty sedate affair overall; With the Easter weekend taking place, it left the neighborhood devoid of the regular pulse of a weekend vibe. Instead we found ourselves inundated with tourists most of the time. Saturday night was pretty busy, thanks in part to the Final Four matchups and a couple of birthday groups. That should change this week with the start of baseball, Champions League quarterfinals and a week of awesome weather! I believe The "Day" will happen this week!

The bar was closed in observance of Easter Sunday, which gave me a day to relax and get out of the neighborhood. We also had the return of the elephants as the Ringling Bros. circus ended their run at Madison Square Garden.

Join me as we celebrate MLB OPENING DAY featuring the NY Mets and the Florida Marlins, among a slew of games on tap this afternoon. $3 Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light and Brooklyn Pennant Ale '55 on tap and free hot dogs and pretzels (while they last!), 12-4pm!

After that, catch the NCAA Championship Game between Duke and Butler (9pm) and enjoy $1 mugs of Bud/Bud Light/Coors Light and $2 mugs, all other domestic drafts all night long!

That's It. That's All I Got.

Is "The Day" when every hot woman of NYC struts around in just their bras and panties - just because it's warm outside and they think guys might notice them?

Pretty much.
