SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!

Last night was a night filled with intrigue and stress for hockey fans at the bar as there were three potential series-ending games going on: Boston vs Buffalo (Boston up 3-2); Washington vs Montreal (Washington up 3-2) and Chicago vs Nashville (Chicago up 3-2).

Even with the heavy rains outside throughout the night, the hardcore fans still made their way to the bar to watch some great games and they weren't disappointed. Out of the three series, two of them did close out: Boston eliminated Buffalo, and Chicago defeated Nashville to advance to the next round of the NHL Playoffs.

In the Washington/Montreal game, however, a different result came about as the underdog Montreal team, backed by a record-setting 53 save effort by its goalie Jaroslav Halak, shut down the high-flying, top-seeded Capitals 4-1 to force a Game 7 on Wednesday. The joint will be jumpin' on Wednesday as fans of both teams will be in the house to watch what should be a memorable game!

Of course, we will be carrying Game 7, live with SOUND! Habs/Caps fans- get there early for a good seat!

It just dawned on me that the Kentucky Derby is quickly approaching and that being said, OPIE CUNNINGHAM will be behind the stick on Saturday afternoon, serving up mint juleps along with our world-famous "Kick the Keg Saturday" specials ($2 mugs, all beers on tap)! The weather will be picture perfect that day, so with windows opened and music cranking, it should be a great afternoon of horse racing and good times!

DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS TONIGHT ($1 mugs, Bud/Bud Light all night long)!

That's It. That's All I Got.
