FIGHT A COLD, FEED A FEVER?

Or is it the other way around? In any case, I'm trying to do a bit of both as the drastic change in weather over the weekend knocked me for a loop. As a result, I'm sitting here typing this post with runny eyes, a runny nose and a wicked cough. I felt a tickle in my throat coming on during the UFC ppv event on Saturday night and that usually spells trouble. Sure enough, by Sunday morning, the aches and fever began to take over me. Here we go again...

Speaking of the UFC ppv event, we hosted the latest fight card live from Montreal, Quebec and the place was packed with UFC groupies, both from the area as well as from Canada. The fight card itself was pretty good, with a few surprises sprinkled in to make the night interesting.

The night itself had its share of twists and turns. For example, soon after the first fight began, there was a bit of a commotion outside of the bar. The garbage can sitting on the corner of the street somehow ignited and caught fire! Thanks to a team effort by the patrons and staff of the bar, we were able to put the fire out relatively quickly.




It was actually pretty funny.

Like I said before, the fight card had a lot of action and the patrons in the house were totally into it.
