"HAB" THE LUCK RUN OUT?

Last night we saw Game 2 action with Philadelphia hosting Montreal, San Jose hosting Chicago in the NHL Conference Finals and Orlando hosting Boston in the NBA Eastern Conference finals. All three games ended with Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston walking away leading their series two games to none. If you are fans of Montreal, San Jose or Orlando, do you think that Lady Luck has finally run out? Falling 2-0 isn't necessarily the end of the world, however, you are definitely in a hole and have reason to worry. As a Habs fan, I am definitely worried. But if you've made it this far with your team, you gotta have faith.

Every morning as I sit in front of the computer typing up the blog and doing other things, my TV is often on the MAURY POVICH SHOW. Now I watch this show for sheer amusement, because let's face it; there are some idiots who appear on that show. Whether it be the woman who appears for the tenth time looking for that "baby daddy", or the moron with 21 kids by five different women or the world's fattest kids, The Maury Povich Show is the poster child for "Clusterf***" in America.

What always gets me are the knuckleheads who get caught in the "Green Room" making out with the "decoys". Note to self: If anyone ever invites you to see a taping of the Maury Povich Show, JUST SAY NO! And if you are stupid enough to go, STAY OUT OF THE GREEN ROOM. And if you are idiot enough to find yourself in the GREEN ROOM, keep your mouth shut and your hands to yourself! I'm just sayin'...

Today is the 30th Anniversary of PAC-MAN, the iconic video game. I can remember when Pac Man arrived back in the day; it was HUGE! Everyone plunked their hard-earned allowances and lunch money into this game and spent hours in video arcades after school and on the weekends hovering around this machine. It was (and I think still is) the biggest video arcade game of all time and the fact that it is still popular to this day speaks for itself. In honor of its 30th Anniversary, we will have free Pac-Man available to play tonight after Pub Trivia! So stick around and try your luck or at the very least, take a walk down memory lane!

TONIGHT: Pub Trivia returns with another fun-filled night of pop-culture fun! Round up the co-workers, friends, pub mates and compete for prizes, free drinks and bragging rights in this weekly soiree! Team registration begins at 7pm and the fun starts at 8pm.

$4 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies) and $15 buckets for EVERYONE, all night long!

That's It. That's All I Got.

Logo

One of sport's oldest and most recognizable logos, the classic 'C' and 'H' of the Montreal Canadiens was first used together in the 1917–18 season, when the club changed its name to Club de hockey Canadien from Club athlétique Canadien,[21] before evolving to its current form in 1952–53. The 'H' does not stand for 'Habs' or Habitants; this is a misconception. It actually stands for 'Hockey', as in 'Club de hockey Canadien', the official name of the team. According to NHL.com, the first man to refer to the team as "the Habs" was American Tex Rickard, owner of the Madison Square Garden, in 1924. Rickard apparently told a reporter that the "H" on the Canadiens' sweaters was for "Habitants."[22]
