BACK TO NORMAL... (sort of).

It's taken me about a day to get over the loss by my Montreal Canadiens in their series against Boston.  And while it sucks that they lost, it was inevitable.  The team was plagued with injuries all season and the reality is that they had been playing over their heads.  Even if they were to win this series, I doubt they could have gone much further in the playoffs.  It was a good run and Habs fans should be content until next year.

With that being said, it was business as usual as we saw the return of PUB TRIVIA, much to the delight of Trivia fans.  Their weekly event got bumped a couple of times due to the NHL Playoffs, and now that both the NY Rangers and Montreal Canadiens are out of the playoffs, it was time to bring Trivia back.  Lots of new faces for this week's edition of Trivia (held on a Thursday but slated to return to its normal Wednesday nights next week). Not as crowded as normal due to the last minute day/time change, but a fun night nevertheless!

TONIGHT: SNY/HOMETOWN NY LAGER "Mets vs Phillies Viewing Party" (7pm)! Join us as we cheer on the NY Mets vs their heated rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies!  SNY and Hometown NY Lager is sponsoring the event, with cool giveaways and $3 pints of Hometown NY Lager (during the game only)!  After the game, catch some great NHL Playoff hockey (joined in progress)!

UFC 129: GSP vs SHIELDS takes place on Saturday night and we'll carry the PPV live, beginning at 8pm! ($10 cover, NOTE THE NEW START TIME)!  We've been getting a lot of calls for this event so get there early and grab a good spot!
