FINAL PREDICTIONS...

We're officially just over 48 hours away from THE BIG GAME between the NY Giants and New England Patriots and everyone's in a tizzy over the game.

Even as I type this, I'm watching a news report on how the stress of big events can trigger heart attacks.  Yay.  How do you prevent these things from happening?  Don't take the game so seriously.  Yeah, easier said than done.  It's the SUPER BOWL!  How do you NOT take it seriously when it's your city that's involved in the Big Game?

In any case, here's my prediction for the big game:  NEW............................................................................

YORK 27,  NEW ENGLAND 23.

I can't say why with certainty I am going for the Giants.  Let's just say it's a gut feeling.  On paper, the Giants look like the superior team.  However, we are talking about Brady and his mystique, and Coach Belichick and his reputation as a defensive wizard.  You simply cannot discount those factors.  However, after agonizing for all of five minutes, I decided to defer to what I see on paper, and I see a Giants victory.  Now I've been a bit better with my predictions this playoff season, so we may actually see another celebration on 3rd Avenue!

Remember, if you plan on joining us for THE BIG GAME this Sunday, take note:  We don't take reservations, so get here EARLY!  We're offering up $4 Bud/Bud Light & Sam Adams pints throughout the game and a halftime buffet!
