After recovering from the Miami Heat's victory party on Thursday in which Heat fans went completely nuts after their big win, it was time to prepare for our annual Québec Day Bash (or "Féte Nationale du Québec"). This is usually a fun affair for us as we usually celebrate with Canadian expats with a night of fine food, beers and music from the province of Québec.
This year's party was going to be more casual than years past, partly due to the fact that we weren't able to get Mile End Deli to join us this time around. And that was sad as everyone always looked forward to their smoked meat sandwiches at the party. However, we were still planning on serving up beers from Unibroue (La Fin Du Monde, Ephémére, Blanche de Chambly, Maudite) and Molson and for the first time, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky as well as the traditional music from Québec.
And aside from a minor (well major actually) glitch with the delivery of beers (which we later worked out), the party ended up working out fine and we ended up with a great turnout and everyone had a good time. I certainly did (and paid for it on Sunday- Damn you Maudite!). Enjoy the pics!
Yours truly and his new "frienemy", Unibroue Maudite...
Now it's time to start a new week! Back to the grind...
Cheers!
