WE'RE BACK!!

It's Monday, and after two long weeks filled with renovations and stuff, we're back and open for business! It's been interesting being around the neighborhood while the bar was closed. For starters, you get to see who really appreciates who you are. The number of people who came by the bar only to be disappointed (and in some cases, shocked and afraid) when they saw us closed was eye-opening. The dynamics of the neighborhood changed drastically when we were closed too. The corner of East 35th Street (where we are located) was very dark and quiet and had a "creepy" feel to it. I, personally, felt strangely sad and melancholy. When you're so used to being around people at night and you go from that to nothing, well, it's a strange feeling.

We don't have to worry about that anymore as we're back and ready to see our favorite patrons! Since opening up this morning, we've had a steady stream of regulars coming in and checking out the new look and the reviews have been generally positive. So if you happen to be in the neighborhood over the next few days, feel free to check us out and give us your review on the new look. We'd love to hear from you!
