CONGRATS TO THE PHILLIES!Phillies fans found themselves in euphoria last night as their beloved hard-luck team defeated the L.A. Dodgers 5-1 to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1993.
They now await the winner of the Boston/Tampa Bay series (Tampa leads 3-1). World Series begins play next Wednesday night.
Pub Trivia produced another enthusiastic crowd last night, with OPIE CUNNINGHAM taking over the role of "ALEX TREBECK", hosting the festivities. I have to say, our friend did a commendable job of handling the duties while the regular host "ALEX TREBECK" was away. Well enough to attract some female groupies after the Trivia ended. Hmmmm....
Towards the end of the night I met a nice young lady who happened to pop into our place on a lark; She's been living in the neighborhood for about two years yet never heard of or been into our place. I guess she enjoyed her experience because she was the last person to leave, after chatting it up with staff members and patrons alike. Looks like we've recruited a new fan.
TONIGHT: Bucket O'Lights Night (5-10pm) with buckets of Michelob Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite, 5/$15.00! There's also a Coors Light promo scheduled at 8pm, with great deals on Coors Light and giveaways to boot!
