In our quest to "broaden" our tastes, we'll soon be introducing the drinking public to what's been voted one of the best beers in the world: DELIRIUM TREMENS.
This Belgian Strong Ale is potent (about 9% alc), pours with a golden tone and a fluffy head. Served in a small, snifter-type of glass, it's got a nice hint of citrus and cloves, well blended
to the point where you can't really taste the alcohol, which is a double-edged sword; You'll find yourself drinking more because it's served in smaller than normal quantities, and because you get a great tasting beer without the alcohol taste. That often spells trouble because of the potency of the brew.As I stated before, it's well-regarded throughout the world and now you'll get to experience it for yourselves. For all of you true beer enthusiasts out there, you better be ready to step up your "A" game. Oh and bring your wallets, cause you won't find this brew at the local bodega....
