Last night was one of those nights where you really couldn't make heads nor tails of which direction it was going. One moment the place would be abuzz with patrons, next thing you know, you'd thought that you were in a library, only to find yourself in a jammed club moments later. Talk about ebb and flow.
One strange incident took place though that made me and everyone else on the staff scratch their heads and say "WTF?". These two geeky-looking guys came into the bar, ordered a couple of drinks, paid for it by credit card and then went to the back of the bar and sat down. The bartender picked up the signed credit card tab and went to put it away when he took a look at it. What he saw stunned him:
The guy left a TEN CENT tip on a $13.00 tab! TEN CENTS!!!! Who does that? The bartender showed his partner the tab and they both just looked at the two guys and shook their heads. What could they have done to deserve a TEN CENT tip? Were the guys trying to be funny? Were they broke? If that was the case, simply don't leave a tip at all. But to leave TEN CENTS? It totally reeked of degradation. To the bartender's credit, they kept their feelings in check but to be honest, I don't know if I would have been able to do the same thing. So DAVID ALLEN LORCH, think twice the next time you decide to come to THIRD and LONG; The bartenders have very good memories, if you know what I mean. Idiots.

To make it even worse, they paid with a fuckin AMEX card which means it cost you guys more than the .10 to charge the little fuckers.
