CELEBRATING THE 60'S!

Tonight's edition of PUB TRIVIA will have everyone hopping into the "Way-Back Machine" and taking us to the heyday of the '60's. That should be interesting, especially in light of the fact that our country experienced a hell of a lot of growing pains during that era. Being a "baby-boomer" myself, I am looking forward to tonight's activities and who knows, I may actually compete for the lead for a change! From what I understand, if you come dressed in attire from the '60's, your trivia team will get extra points towards your total.

We're expecting a good crowd for tonight's edition of PUB TRIVIA, so I recommend that you get there early. We also have a special guest host so this should be even more interesting as she is a regular on the Pub Trivia circuit. Let's see if she has what it takes to stump the masses.

As always, there will be prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams and a special prize goes out to the team with the "Best Team Name". Of course, what would be Pub Trivia without great drink specials? KOPPARBERG CIDER sponsors our Trivia each week so of course, we're offering up $5 bottles of KOPPARBERG CIDER (normally $6), or a bucket of 5 for $20! $4 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies only) and $15 Miller High Life buckets ALL NIGHT LONG!

On a side note: MILLER HIGH LIFE is sponsoring a pretty cool promo aimed at assisting War Veterans. Miller High Life will be donating up to $1 million to Miller’s High Life Experiences. Each pull-tab or Miller High Life bottle cap will add 10¢ to that goal of $1 million.

High Life has teamed up with the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) in order to "Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life." Starting July 1, and running through September 30, specially-marked bottles and cans of Miller High Life and Miller High Life Light (like the one to the right) will be available for purchase. For every bottle cap or can tab that is returned via mail or at participating bars and restaurants, Miller will donate ten cents directly to the IAVA.

The IAVA, in turn, will use this money to fund their "Rucksack: Rewards for Vets" program, which gives veterans the opportunity to attend events like the MLB All-Star Game, NASCAR races, and concerts completely free of charge.

So while you're enjoying that bucket of High Lifes tonight during Pub Trivia, remember to save those bottlecaps and turn them in to the bartenders so that we can help out a good cause!

That's It. That's All I Got.
