JOB WELL DONE

Last night the bar hosted a fund raiser for a "The Pajama Program", a non-profit program that provides pajamas and books to children in need. Many of the children come from broken homes, or are in foster care or waiting to be adopted and have never owned a pair of pajamas; In many instances they never experienced having a nurturing parent there for them to tuck them in bed or read a bedtime story to them. The Pajama Program tries to help bring a bit of brightness in what would otherwise be a grim experience for these children.

The turnout for the fundraiser was great and by the looks of the things, they were able to raise a lot of money as well as collect a LOT of books and pajamas for the program. The hosts of the fundraiser seemed very pleased with the results and they thanked us profusely for allowing the event to take place at the bar. It's always nice to be a part of something that provides assistance for those in need. Good stuff.

It's Friday and that means we're up against another busy weekend. Starting with our "Weekend Kick-Off Happy Hour" (Friday) through "Brew Crew Sunday" (Sunday), I expect a shitload of pints to be poured, all in the name of F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L! I think I'm mentally prepared for what may come but then again, check in on Monday and let's see what really happened!

FRIDAY: "Weekend Kick-Off Happy Hour" (5-9pm), features $4 Domestic Drafts/Mixed Well Drinks! Loosen the tie, undo that top blouse button and let the fun begin!

SATURDAY: "Kick the Keg Saturday" (10am-7pm) brings us $2 mugs, MOST beers on tap! We also feature EPL soccer in the mornings, followed by NCAA Football in the afternoon! BAYLOR BEARS ALUMNI VIEWING PARTY, 3:30pm vs TCU! (w/Audio)!

And if that isn't enough for you, stick around for our "Week in Review" (7pm-midnight), where each night's drink special is ON TAP! Every hour the special changes! So get there at 7pm and experience a week's worth of specials in one night!

SUNDAY: "BREW CREW SUNDAYS" rules the day as the NFL takes over the spotlight! $4 Bud/Bud Light drafts during ALL NFL GAMES! We're also the "OFFICIAL" home of the (REAL) DOLFANS NYC Fan Club! All DOLFANS NYC members wearing their team colors get an extra $1 off all other drafts during all Dolphins games!

We'll also have a representative from MOMENTUM SPORTS at the bar this Sunday to sell jerseys of your favorite teams, not only football, but all sports! So look out for him!
