BRING ON MARCH MADNESS!

We are merely a couple of weeks away from the end of Winter and the start of Spring and I couldn't be more excited!  And with the month of March brings MARCH MADNESS, one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.  Everyone, from the diehard college basketball fan to the most casual of observers get excited about the tournament and often find themselves getting involved in one of the many office pools that revolves around this event.   One of the best things about the tournament is the number of people who take the "late lunch", so that they could catch some of the games at the local sports bar.  Some people have even made a tradition of doing this.

This year's tournament is slightly different in that it doesn't conflict with St. Patrick's Day.  To me, that's a good thing in that now you can concentrate on all of the games without having to deal with the obvious distractions that come with St. Patrick's Day.

In the meantime, before we even get to the "Big Dance", we still have the conference tournaments to deal with, some of which have already begun (Big South, Horizon for example). Between now and Sunday, March 17th when the Selection Sunday show airs, it's all eyes glued to the TV's and sharpening the pencils for the bracket pools. We'll have all of the games of the March Madness Tournament here and we can't wait until the fun begins!
