THE (Buffalo) BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN....

We find ourselves fully immersed in the Big East Tournament and when that time of the year comes around, that usually means one thing:  The return of the BUFFALO BOYS.  The Buffalo Boys are a lovable, motley crew of men who get together once a year for a "Boys Weekend" in NYC.  That always revolves around the Big East Tournament.

These guys have made the trek down to NYC each and every year for about 10 years and with each visit they find themselves having plenty of "hot mess moments", none of which include any Big East Tournament games - which is the main purpose of the trip.  The fact of the matter is that they usually find themselves parked on our barstools than in the cushy seats of Madison Square Garden.  That has been the running joke with this group for years.  In any case, they boys are back again this year, albeit with a tinge of sadness.  The Big East Conference (as we know it) is dismantling after this season and most of these teams will never face each other again.  So perhaps, this will be the year that the Buffalo Boys actually get a game in this time.

Then again... We do have a lot of TV's.  Stay tuned....
