Just read an amusing article in today's NY Post about a man who is on a quest to have a drink in 1000 bars in 2005. (check it out via www.nypost.com). He also has a blog on this site (thousandbars.blogspot.com), where he goes in depth about each bar he visited and what he had to drink at that specific bar. Pretty admirable if he is able to complete the task...even more so, considering the fact that homey is 60 years old. There's hope for you yet, Ryan....
Rumormill: There's talk around the beer taps that Third & Long is planning on celebrating it's 14th Anniversary by "rolling back the clock". That means that there will be 90's prices on drinks, 90's music, 90's movies on the big screen and other surprises. Stay tuned for details.....
Upcoming happenings: Super Bowl Bash this Sunday (6pm); Mardi Gras Party on Tuesday (2/8): $1 drafts, $3 Hurricane Shots, beads and other fun stuff that comes with it...Think New Orleans, Third & Long style.... Also Valentine's Day Singles Soiree...Monday, Feb 14 (hey, single folks need love too...)
