An Early Start....

I found myself up rather early this morning due to an appointment with Nicki, our resident window painter. She's the one who paints the beautiful theme-based murals on our windows. We've been working with her for years and she's a charming young lady. The only (mild)drawback in working with Nicki: she's only available at 5:30am. It's difficult waking up for anybody at 5am. However, watching her work makes it worthwhile. ;)

My moles tell me that a good time was had by all last night; the band was pretty good (from what I could hear), a lot of cheering and singing along. I am assuming that we will have Anthony back again in the near future. Kudos to "HisboyElroy" for booking him.

If you are into college basketball, then you are in basketball heaven starting today; Most of the major conferences hold their tournaments today and we will be carrying a lot of them. Hoop action begins at 12 noon, so if you can sneak away during lunch, grab a sandwich and pop in for $3.00 Bud/Bud Light/Sam Adams (all afternoon); We'll even supply you with an Altoid (or two).

I'll check in again this afternoon with more updates and scoops. Until then, have a great day! (Did I just sound like a McDonald's commercial?)

Anthony and his crew were a fun bunch....a little bit of a traveling road show, a carnival-like atmosphere....a very diminutive,pygmie-esque bongo player, a violinist, and a midget bartender to boot! lots of groupies! Good time had by all and no one got hurt. The freak show will make a repeat performance sometime in the summer. They are on the road until then.

yes lots of chicks were in the bar that night-midget bartender but nice breasts to make up for her lack of height-bring the band back more often if they bring that many girls with them all the time
