ELEPHANT PARADE UPDATE:

The parade will be tonite at around midnight. Party begins at around 10-ish. Bring your cameras, your thirst buds and let's make it a fun time.

Last night I spent my night off enjoying some coffee and a magazine at Starbucks. Also took a casual walk around the neighborhood-haven't done that in awhile. Usually I'm rushing about, trying to get things done. However, I made it a point to take it easy tonite-just a laid-back night recharging the batteries. I also checked out a cool flick on HBO: "IN AMERICA", directed by Jim Sheridan (sp?). It was about a family of four from Ireland, struggling to make a new start in New York. Pretty powerful stuff that touched me in several ways, none of which I will go into detail at the moment. Let's just say it struck a nerve. A very moving picture.

Today I plan on getting some much needed organization done with the bar. Get rid of some accumulating clutter around the place; i'm sure we'll have a lot of deliveries to deal with as well. I look forward to getting things back to normal with the bar.
Just realized that next Sunday is Easter Sunday. It sort of just snuck up on me. On top of that, also remembered that I have a wedding to attend on Easter Sunday. A couple of former students of mine are tying the knot. I'm actually pretty happy for them as I remember them as freshmen in college-they came into the same program together and now they are professing a lifetime commitment for each other. Cool stuff.

Enough rambling for now. Last thing I need is to get sentimental around you lot. If you are lucky, i'll be back with more tidbits.

I have finally given my liver a break since some time before st. patty's day. I woke up restless around 4 or 5am today...no sign of the shakes. does anyone know a good way to clean out a liver? I don't think good old fashioned water is going to cut it this time. -Angel (who hasn't been very angelic these days.)
