So i'm reading the reputable daily rag, THE NEW YORK POST, and there's this article about NEW YORK CITY being the best-paying city in the United States. But here's the kicker: The Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics say that the average weekly paycheck for a job in MANHATTAN is $2,025. $2,025!!!! Where in the hell are they getting their stats? Who in the hell are they talking to?? If this is true, I WANT A RAISE! The second highest city in terms of best paying weekly salaries is FAIRFIELD, CONN. ($1,613/wk.).
Here are the rankings by way of boroughs:
1)MANHATTAN ($2025/wk.)
2)QUEENS ($759/wk.)
3)BRONX ($705/wk.)
4)STATEN ISLAND ($664/wk.)
5)BROOKLYN ($660/wk.)
So it obviously pays to work in Manhattan.... but still, where are they getting this info from??? I WANT A RAISE, DAMMIT!
Discuss amongst yourselves...
