FEELING REJUVINATED....
After venting about my long weekend, I spent most of Monday afternoon S-L-E-E-P-I-N-G. Much needed and it made a difference. Though I woke up a bit groggy, I feel much better now. So no more venting from me (for now anyways). So now I am focused on the task at hand: COMPUTER SHOPPING.
Now if you have been an avid reader of the blog, you know that I've been shopping for a computer since the computer was invented back in 1903. It seems that long anyhow. My problem is that i'm a bit gunshy about making such a significant purchase. Not because of the amount of money that goes into purchasing said item; more because I want to be able to buy one that will last a good long time without me having to upgrade it every month. Everyone keeps telling me to buy DELL; however, my first attempt at buying from DELL was a total disaster and now I am leery of going back to the scene of the crime. I do know this: my IBM APTIVA (circa 1996) is hanging on by a thread and I need to do something soon. It's to the point where I can't even print out a flyer without lighting a prayer candle to make it work. I'll keep you posted.
I am also working with H.B.E. on bringing in some new blood. With a number of staff departures, the time is right for change. So hopefully if things work out, you'll get to meet some new members of the 3 & L family soon.
DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS continues tonite ($1 mugs of Bud/Bud Light drafts). Stop by after work for a couple!
