BEAUTY AND THE GEEK, part deux

DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS was interesting in that we seemed to have the best of two worlds: A lot of rather decent looking girls and a lot of guys who would probably be best described as members of the "Geek Squad". However, the two groups seemed to mix well, like a tossed salad. All night long you'd see "Beauty" intermingling with "the Geek" in perfect harmony; from doing shots together, to cutting up a serious rug on the dance floor, it was definately a sight to behold.

Oh and we had another appearance from MS. KREMLIN last night. I'd seen her walking by the bar earlier in the evening and found myself hiding behind some coats with the hopes that she didn't see me. Of course I couldn't be that lucky as she showed up later in the evening with a lady friend, requesting drinks "to-go". Turns out the lady friend was the same one that MS. KREMLIN was seen canoodling with in the champagne room last week. So she likes to cover all her bases. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. At least it takes some of the heat off of me.

I'm cutting this short b/c I have to open the shop in the a.m. and I'll need my beauty sleep. It's MOLSON HOCKEY NIGHT at the bar, with (hopefully) the NHL CENTER ICE package in full effect, so all of your hockey games will be aired. We are also offering $3 MOLSON CANADIAN DRAFTS/ MOLSON XXX BOTTLES, COORS LIGHT & BLUE MOON, as well as $4 MIXED WELL DRINKS (for the ladies)! So there's something on tap for everyone! ONE LAST NOTE: I want to thank those individuals who donated items/supplies to my friend who was recently displaced due to a recent apartment fire. If you are still interested in making a donation, my friend can use the following: clothing items(female size 6 pants, medium shirts, sweats, sweaters, socks, etc.), toiletries and incidentials; anything you can spare. She's a great girl who could use the assistance, as she lost everything she owned in the fire. All donations can be dropped off by the bar under the Swanfather's name.
