"CHILLIN' OUT ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON...."

I found myself spending a rather leisurely afternoon at the bar. With the afternoon dominated by clouds and light steady rains, the foot traffic was minimal, at best. That being said, I really didn't mind the afternoon being slow as I was able to relax while taking care of some things behind the bar.

I got a visit from some of the usual suspects, including AFRIKA BAMBATTA, MR. LOW-KEY, AMERICAN PSYCHO, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE and T-BILL. We spent most of the afternoon fixated on the NCAA March Madness games. I was particularly upset at the fact that my team, OHIO STATE was robbed of a #1 seed, even though their credentials dictated that they should have received one. I tell ya, it's the damn politics behind the scenes!

I was also pleasantly surprised by a visit from my Little Canadian Friend, who's in town this week for some photo shoots. She had the pleasure of meeting some of the boys and seemed to fit right in with some interesting stimulating conversation. I'm looking forward to our lunch date so that we can catch up, since it's been awhile since we've hung out.

The end of the evening consisted of the usual laid-back scene with various couples and small groups hanging out with quiet conversations. A nice easy way to end the weekend.

This is going to be a rather busy week with the NCAA's and St. Patrick's Day and all. I will make a concentrated effort to keep updating the blog throughout the week. In the meantime, enjoy the week and stop by soon!
