THEY'RE BAAAACK!
Last night I noticed an interesting development. Groups of young adults, strapped with lists and peering into the bar. Hesitant at first to come in, but eventually making their way in, like a child dipping his toe into a swimming pool for the first time. There they were, fresh faces from NYU's Medical School's incoming class, doing their traditional "scavenger hunt". One of the items on their list was to retrieve a beer coaster from our bar; So there I was, like a parent on Halloween, passing out coasters like they were Peppermint Patties. Most of the newbies ended up staying for a beer (or ten), and among them were quite a few hotties. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of the new class of 2010 (God that just made me feel really old) in the very near future.
FIREMARSHALL ED made a triumphant return behind the stick, along with F.I.T. GIRL, and together, they handled the rush of newbies with no problems at all. MASTER THESPIAN has been off the last couple of weeks, preparing for an acting gig that he's been working on. Some showcase thing. But he'll be back soon.
