A RANDOM OBSERVATION...
One thing I failed to mention the other night; I met someone at the bar on Friday night who happened to be an avid reader of the blog. While that's a cool thing in its own right, what was unique about this individual was that he was from Singapore....half way around the world!
This individual is a sportswriter who's in town to cover the U.S. Open Tennis Championships; He came across the blog link by way of another cool blog, 1000 BARS and has kept up with the hijinks of our bar ever since. So it was pretty cool to meet someone who's a fan of the bar from so far away! Go Figure!
SUNDAY: FANTASY FOOTBALL SUNDAYS are back at Third and Long with $3.00 Coors Light, $4.00 Domestic Drafts and an afternoon of fun and football. I fully expect to see the Sunday Brew Crew back in place and ready for some action! Doors open at 12 noon, so get there early! There will also be a special guest bartender working the stick with yours truly so come down and meet her!

And finally, CONGRATS to our own NAPOLEON DYNAMITE and his lovely fiance, SMURFETTE on their recent engagement! I don't quite remember if they met at the bar or not, but I am pretty sure that there was alcohol involved.... My best to the both of them!
