Follow the daily interactions of an affable bar manager of pretty cool and not-so-typical watering hole in NYC, in a not-so-typical neighborhood, Murray Hill. There may be some blurbs overheard at the bar, stimulating observations and random thoughts on random things. So be careful, you never know what might end up here....Enjoy and welcome to my world!

OUCH!!!!
There were plenty of Met fans who braved the fierce wet weather to cheer on their team in the pivotal Game 5, vs St. Louis. Early on, the crowd was very vocal, cheering their team on. However, it seemed that every time the METS would mount an offensive, the CARDS would come right back. It was a pretty good game overall, until about the 5th inning when the METS gave up some runs and allowed ST. LOUIS to come back and eventually take over the lead for good. The final score was 4-2 and now the teams come back to New York for Game 6, TONIGHT..... It's do-or-die time for Met fans: Win, and there will be a Game 7 on Thursday. Lose, and the magical run ends. Met fans have a reason to worry...but keep the faith.
Game begins at 8:15pm.
LADIES NIGHT TONIGHT! $2.00 mixed well drinks (for the ladies), $4.00 Coors Light, Blue Moon Ale, Amstel Light (for everyone else), ALL NIGHT LONG! Stop by and cheer on the METS!
more updates later....
