GIRLS NIGHT OUT... THE VALENTINE'S DAY EDITION

Last night we had a nice turnout of "singles" who chose not to spend Valentine's Day alone; Many found themselves engrossed in conversation about the whole point of Valentine's Day; living life as a single person in NYC vs being in a relationship for the security of being with someone. Others simply came by with the hopes of meeting someone new. In any case, I found that many people were feeling the same way as I did regarding Valentine's Day, so I didn't feel so bad for being cynical.

I got to hang out with a few of the regulars and I think some of them were pleasantly surprised to see me actually enjoying a cocktail, instead of "protecting them". I must admit, it did feel cool to just hang out and not have to worry about anything (for the most part). Earlier in the day, we were dealing with some minor emergencies with the bar so that kept me on my toes for most of the day. So to be able to kick back with a brew, well, it was just nice. And to have good conversation with some cool people while enjoying that brew- even better.





BABY GIRL and CINDERELLA MAN did a bang up job in slinging the drinks and ELROY was on top of everything else, making sure all parties were having a good time. GIRLS NIGHT OUT, the Valentine's Day Edition turned out to be a good night and a nice change of pace after all.


Tonight is LITE NITE THURSDAYS ($4.00 ALL LIGHT BEERS), beginning at 5pm!
