ONE OF THOSE WEEKS....I want to apologize once again for the lack of quality posts this week; it's been one of those hectic weeks filled with one unexpected emergency after another, all very time consuming. That of course, took it's toll on me and my spare time, which made me want to SCREAM at times, but hey, you take the good with the bad, right? Thus the lack of posts. Sorry again.
Aside from all of the emergencies, it's been a pretty interesting week. With the beautiful spring weather, came faces that I hadn't seen in awhile; Many former patrons of the bar, no doubt emerging from winter hibernation status, stopped by to say hello or to say that they were back in the area again. Always nice to see familiar faces.
This is a big weekend for sports fans as tonight, THE FINAL FOUR begins. FLORIDA, GEORGETOWN, UCLA and of course, "America's Team", OHIO STATE lock horns to see who meets on Monday night for the NCAA National Championship. I am expecting a very good crowd for some intense games. May the best teams win (though I'm sure everyone here knows who I'll be rooting for).
Then there's AMERICA'S PASTIME- BASEBALL. The season kicks off with a national telecast of the NY Mets vs the World Series Champions, St. Louis Cardinals. Opening Day for the NY Yankees take place on Monday- Always a great time of year.
Of course, the bar itself will be teeming with drink specials to cover all of the sporting events this weekend! And the chances are pretty good that you'll catch me floating around the bar at some point during the weekend. Hope to see everyone there!
