My Cleveland Cavaliers have made it to the NBA FINALS. After 37 years of frustration, hard luck and futility, AMERICA's TEAM will go to their very first NBA FINALS. In a city where they've known nothing but bad luck throughout their sports history, this may be the time that they finally shake the proverbial "monkey off their backs".
They will have a few days to bask in the limelight of unparalleled success before facing their biggest test to date: THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS. A formidable task indeed, but we'll deal with that later. In the meantime, let's just sit back.... and enjoy our reign as the 2006-07 NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS
!The city must be going nuts right about now. I only wish I was there for the celebration. For now, I'll just have to hang my jersey in the window.
