A TIME FOR CELEBRATING
Last night was one of those nights where everyone seemed to be celebrating something; whether it be a birthday (ANGEL, LEORA) or an engagement (ALLISON) or a new job opportunity (ENERGIZER BUNNY, MELISSA), spirits were good last night for mostly everyone.
The Avenue was shut down for vehicle traffic again last night, which made for a calm atmosphere on the street for the pedestrians. It's a weird feeling not hearing the loud blasts of car horns or the whizzing of speeding cabs flying by every three seconds, but I have to say at the same time, I kinda like it. I think I could get used to it. I wonder how much longer they will keep the Avenue shut down while working on what's left of the steam pipe blast from the other day?
Speaking of which, here are some more pics from that tragic accident (taken with an IPHONE btw).
Thanks to ADAM CIPOLETTI for the submission.
Overall, a pretty good night!
