FOILED AGAIN.......

It looks like I'm going to have to put my bottle of Pink Champale on ice for a couple more days as AMERICA's TEAM (a.k.a. the Cleveland Indians) couldn't close out JOSH BECKETT and the Boston Red Sox last night. Due to some tight, nervous play from my team and some timely hitting and clutch pitching from theirs, RED SOX NATION gets to live another day. While I am ultimately confident that we will prevail in the series, I am slightly nervous, nevertheless. I didn't want to see our team have to go back to Boston; My preference would have been to have Cleveland close out the series at home and be done with it. When you have the enemy down, put them away for good; don't give them any opportunity for a new lease on life.

So now I have to sweat it out this weekend to see if my boys will actually close them out. At least it makes for interesting TV this weekend. Dammit, I don't think my heart can take the stress.

In other news, I have to apologize for the lack of a post yesterday. I found myself running around like a chicken with its head cut off for most of the day. By the time all was said and done, I barely had time for my pre-game nap before going in to work. But hey, it's the nature of the beast. What can I say? Again, my apologies.

Next weekend is our Annual Halloween Bash (Saturday, October 27, 2007); With drink specials o'plenty, and a prize for the "Male/Female Best Costumes", it should make for a fun, albeit, interesting night. I have my costume all set and I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it. The staff will be dressed up as well, so make sure to stop by, decked out in your "phunky" best! Remember, CREATIVITY IS KEY!

NHL CENTER ICE is up and running! We finally got the package set up yesterday, so now you can catch all of your hockey action, EVERY GAME, EVERY NIGHT, EAST COAST as well as WEST COAST! And to make things more appealing to the rabid (as well as casual), we're offering $3.00 Molson Canadian drafts and $4.00 Coors Lights every time there's an NHL game shown on our TV's. You can't beat that with a hockey stick!

Sunday: "FAN-tasy Football Sundays", $3.00 Bud/Bud Light drafts ALL DAY LONG! Don't forget, this Sunday is also the first of our free "HALFTIME BUFFET" for all of the Sunday Brew Crew and "FAN-atical" football fans!
