The "Queen of Professional Wrestling" met her biggest opponent, the Grim Reaper the other day, passing away at the age of 84.
Known, loved and/or hated by wrestling fans for over 60 years. She was synonymous with women's professional wrestling, almost single-handedly making it popular for the mainstream audience. Who could forget her big rivalry with Wendi Richter during the "Rock 'n Wrestling Connection of the '80's," which ultimately brought the WWE to the forefront? Why do I choose to bring her up here? She reminds me of my youth when I was a huge wrestling fan and back when life seemed to be much simpler then.
