Last night of course, was another installment of DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS. While the night itself is usually a good one on its own merits, last night turned out to be busier than usual. Why? Well it seems that someone decided to throw a birthday party for themselves (who does that?).
Last week, a young lady called the bar and asked to reserve a couple of tables in the back for a birthday party. When asked who the birthday person was, she replied "It's my birthday!". Um... okay. So we were curious to see who this person was that would plan and throw a birthday party for themselves.
So when this person showed up very early in the evening, the first thing I said to myself was "Who is this Erykah Badu look-alike?" Turns out she was the birthday girl herself, the first person to arrive for her party (again, who throws a birthday party for themselves?). So now I'm really curious to see how many people would actually show up to this "soirée" for someone who throws a birthday party for themselves.
As it turns out, she had a decent crew that showed up for her birthday, and ended up drawing some suitors (both male and female) from within the bar as well. From what I understand, the end of the night made for some interesting drama for what it's worth. I think it's safe to say that someone enjoyed their birthday party very much.
BIG BROTHER 9 update: So I've shared with you my love for the show. After watching the feeds from Showtime2 late Sunday night, it justified my feelings for the show. Let's just say I've never come across a reality TV show with so much T & A and "free love" flowing uncensored and uninterrupted in my life! These houseguests were totally going over the top and I can only imagine how their loved ones are reacting once they see their behavior on national TV tonight. BB9 is AWESOME. Watching sheets move up and down through a night vision goggle lens is much better than actually going out and having the sex for yourself. Anyway, got to go now. Showtime 7 is showing somebody eat a cheeseburger and I'm real hungry.
