THE BRUTAL TRUTH....

Did anyone happen to catch the latest installment of FOX's "The Moment of Truth"? For those of you out of the loop, it's a tv show when contestants are strapped to a lie detector and made to answer excruciatingly personal questions in order to win money. What makes it worse is that you are often forced to answer these questions in front of family and friends. Why anyone would subject themselves to such torture is beyond me, but it seems that money will make people do a lot of things.

Case in point, the most recent episode. This one involved a hot blonde, married to a NYC cop. She went on the show for the fame and fortune that she assumed would come with appearing on the show. Instead, she ends up revealing that she cheated on her husband and ends up leaving the show empty-handed and probably with a divorce looming. Simply brutal. You gotta feel for this guy. I guess the question that's begging to be asked is: "Why would you go on such a show, knowing that this kind of humiliation could possibly take place, especially when you already suspect that something wasn't right in the marriage? H-E-L-L-O!!!!
