Before I head out to prepare for this evening's debauchery, I can't close out today's blog posts without giving a much-deserved CONGRATULATIONS to MANCHESTER UNITED for pulling out a heart-wrenching Champions League Final victory over CHELSEA, 1-1 (6-5 in penalty kicks).A classic match in every sense of the word, this one had all the drama that movie producers drool over. Tons of storylines, two rival teams, unpredictable elements (both physical and mental) and a victory that had to be seen to truly believe. One for the ages. You had to feel for the CHELSEA team as both teams played as hard as they could- you hate to see anyone lose.
Again, well done MAN U.
Next up: EURO 2008 (June 7).
