I'm testing this new (or maybe not so new) feature called ScribeFire which allows me to blog from anyplace, as opposed to just the blog page. I'm currently at the bar trying to do some real "bar work", yet I can't help but to find myself distracted, yet amused by the low stream of chaos that goes on each afternoon. For example:
As I scan across the bar, the roll call of characters list as follows (from left end of the bar to the right): two tourists from England, enjoying a cold pint and laughing at the regulars; X-RAY EDDIE, enjoying a "light lunch" consisting of a Subway sandwich and an O'Douls; THAT DAY BARTENDER GUY and his lovely gal pal, enjoying a Pinot Grigio and a Vodka/Soda; BOBBY DEWARS celebrating something (not quite sure what) by dancing by himself in the middle of the bar; DALE EARNHARDT, JR grumbling about something while sipping on a Bud Light. Then there's a strange, yet cute short-haired brunette who's chillin' by herself and finding herself amused as I am, by the who scenario taking place. Little does she know, she's slowly becoming part of the chaos!
The majority of the bar seems focused on the horse racing channel, placing harmless wagers on the horses amongst themselves. Odd but amusing.
Well, I'm going to try and get back to work. Here's hoping this thing works.
