TWO IN, TWO MORE TO GO...

After yesterday's thrilling Elite Eight games, UCONN and VILLANOVA both punched tickets to next week's Final Four in Detroit, Michigan. And yes, yours truly had those two in his Final Four. Now all we need is NORTH CAROLINA and unlikely pick MICHIGAN STATE to pull through and yours truly will look like a genius. Will they make it happen? We'll find out this afternoon...

Yesterday was EARTH HOUR, where every major city turned out lights in their major structures/buildings for one hour. Here in New York, the Empire State Building shut off its famous tower lights for an hour. I did my part by taking a nap and shutting off my lights. Yeah, you could say it was coincidental, but hey, every little bit helps.

My NEW weather chick (Megan Glaros, WCBS-TV) says we're going to get hit with some rain this afternoon, but don't let that dampen your spirits. We're still hosting "Sunday Funday", complete with board games, newspapers, TV's for the March Madness action and of course, $4.00 Domestic Drafts/Mixed Well Drinks ALL DAY LONG!. So if you don't feel like being cooped up in your shoebox apartment today, throw on the rain gear and stroll on down. We'll keep the lights on for ya!

AND FINALLY: With just over a week left in the regular season, NHL hockey heats up at Third and Long! We are the home of everything NHL and with the playoff upcoming, we will ramp up the coverage, thanks to our NHL CENTER ICE Package! So if you are a fan of the locals (RANGERS/DEVILS) or any of the out-of-town teams competing in the upcoming playoffs, you can be sure that we'll have the coverage you're looking for, as well as great drink specials during the road to Lord Stanley's Cup!
