FILE UNDER "Don't Say I Never Hook You Up..."Just came across a website that will make you both laugh and cringe at the same time.
The site, SAID IN BED, is a site that uploads reader-submitted snippets of conversations taking place before, during and after the most intimate of moments. Kinda like "Overheard In NY", except that the comments are probably overheard by the folks you're shagging with. Here are some examples:
“Hey, can I ask you something?” “Sure.” “Do you shave your back?”
OR
“Your stretchmarks really disturb me. They’re like signs of violence. I think we need to talk about this before we can make love.”
OR HOW ABOUT THIS....
“I think we should probably keep this to ourselves.” “I think we should tell Chris about it.” “We definitely shouldn’t tell Chris about it.” “Can I tell my cheerleading coach? I tell her everything.” “But you’re…35.”
Ouch. Almost makes you want to be a hermit. Check out the site HERE.
KILT ALERT!

If you've noticed an increase in men walking about in plaid skirts this week, no need to worry. It's Tartan Week in New York, and as a result, the city's being overrun with visiting Scots and fans of the Kilt.
Tartan Week started on Monday and there are activities connected with the celebration of Scotland all week long, leading up to the Tartan Day parade. You can be sure that you'll see plenty of jovial Scots out celebrating after the parade on Saturday. We've had our share of them visit the bar over the years and they tend to be a gregarious bunch. Very friendly for the most part, once you can decipher their dialect. They can be a bit hard to understand, especially when they get liquored up. That's been my experience.
TONIGHT: Bucket o'Lights Night, featuring $15.00 buckets of Coors Light, Michelob Light or Miller Lite (5-10pm)! NY Rangers in a MUST WIN game vs Carolina (7pm), and Penn State vs Baylor in the NIT Championship at MSG. We'll carry coverage of both games!
AND FINALLY: This weekend marks the official start of baseball season. Both the NY Yankees and NY Mets are opening up new stadiums with exhibition games. The Mets open against the Boston Red Sox while the Yankees host the Chicago Cubs. That being said, THE DON brought up an interesting point: We have the two teams with the newest stadiums playing host to the two teams that play in the OLDEST stadiums (Wrigley Field and Fenway Park). Interesting....

That's how I read it the first time. I was sitting here thinking you got some. But then I went on to read that you didn't. Maybe next time?
