The NY Rangers came to Madison Square Garden with a purpose last night. I went to the game with SUGAR, hoping for a victory for the visiting Canadiens and hoping to make life miserable for SUGAR (a huge Ranger fan) in the process. However, when it was all said and done, the only one feeling miserable was yours truly.
The Rangers, desperately needing a victory to strengthen their hold on the last playoff spot, played like possessed demons last night, taking the fight to the Habs, en route to a pretty lopsided 3-1 victory. As a result, they once again control their own destiny with two games left. All they need is to win one more game and they are in the playoffs. Sounds simple enough. Problem: The last two games are against the always tough rival Philadelphia Flyers. Next game- Thursday night at 7pm. As for me, the only good thing that came out of this night was the fact that I had AWESOME seats. Hats off to my girl, Christina over at NHL headquarters for the hook-up!

The Third and Long Pub Trivia "Tournament of Champions", originally scheduled for tonight, is now rescheduled to next Monday (April 13), 8pm.
There will be a regular edition of Wednesday Night Pub Trivia tonight as usual; Registration for teams (up to six members) begin at 7pm, action begins at 8pm! Don't forget the $3.00 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies), and Buckets of Bud Light Cans (6/$15) OR Harpoon/Harpoon UFO bottles (5/$15)!
