WEIRD NIGHT.
Can't really give a reason why. Just one of those nights where you had a weird mix of people. Some interesting. Some annoying. Definitely wasn't your typical Thursday night crowd, that's for sure.
AMY SMART and I noticed at one point during the evening that at the crowded bar there were about 20 women and ONE guy. Who sees that at Third and Long? Usually it's the other way around and that drives me crazy. So to see that was pretty nice, if I do say so myself.
It was one of those kind of nights where you often found yourself scratching your head and saying "Really? Is this really happening right now?" . Whether it be an odd looking couple hooking up, or if some obnoxious patron did or said something that made you want to punch them in the face. It was one of those nights.
On the other hand, it was also one of those nights where every time I looked up, there was either a current or former staff member coming in for a cocktail (or six). That was actually kind of cool to see.
I wish I had more for ya but that's all I got. Just one of those nights I guess. Glad it's finally over with.
