Last night we found ourselves celebrating the birthday of not ONE Long brother (FIRE MARSHALL ED), but TWO, (FRENCHY). That's a lot of dollar drafts and Jager Bombs to go around.
The day began with the opening matches of the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE where we were greeted with a small contingent of CELTIC fans who came with the hopes of a big win vs ARSENAL. Sadly, they went away dejected as ARSENAL won on the road, 2-0. The two teams play again next Wednesday at 2:30pm and it's become a must-win for the team from Glasgow, Scotland or else...
After the match, DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS kicked off and early on we got a nice contingent of females to fill up the place (the ladies always seem to set the pace). Eventually the sausage-fest followed and by 8pm, we're already starting a line outside. FIRE MARSHALL ED was surprised by some baked goods and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" by the whole bar. I thought the poor guy was going to shed a tear.

Folks began partying non-stop afterwards and at around midnight, we raised another toast, this time to FRENCHY. And yes, they even got yours truly to do a Jager Bomb (I'm not built for those)! It turned out to be a pretty good night for all parties involved.
ALERT! PUB TRIVIA TOURNAMENT of CHAMPIONS FINALS tonight! After many grueling weeks, we're down to the Final Four! All of the marbles are on the line tonight as we crown a new champion of Trivia! Special prizes will be awarded to the winning team and the runners-up; there will also be prizes awarded to other teams who compete in the "non-tournament" section of Pub Trivia. In other words, even if your team isn't in the "Tournament of Champions", you can still play and compete for prizes! Registration is at 7pm and the fun begins at 8pm! $4.00 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies) and $15 Buckets of Miller High Life all night long!
