FANATICAL FANS AND U.N. CLUSTERF***!

Last night Third and Long was awash in blue and orange as the NYC DOLFANS Football Club held a viewing party for the MIAMI DOLPHINS vs INDIANAPOLIS COLTS game. The game itself lived up to the hype with both teams providing excitement for everyone. It came down to one final drive by the Colts to decide a winner, and unfortunately for the DOLFANS, the breaks didn't go their way. The Colts pulled out a 27-23 win, sending Dolphins fans home disappointed.







Next Game: vs SAN DIEGO (4:15pm)

Another football note: Just noticed that both the JETS and GIANTS are scheduled to play at 1pm. I think it has something to do with the Jewish Holidays. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Just want to throw something out there: Have you ever found yourself awake late night and come across some of the programming that airs on your local public access channels?

There is some bizarre shit out there, let me tell you. For example, in a two hour block I saw a show where a creepy old guy wore a monkey mask and professed his love for some chick named Linda and Satan the devil; I also saw another show involving some convoluted sketch comedy show with really bad acting; and then believe it or not, explicit black porn! I shit you not! PORN on public access TV! Not the escort ads NYC is famous for, mind you, but full on girl-on-girl, guy-on-girl, strippers, all jammed into one 30 minute block. Only in New York I guess.

And in case you're wondering what I'm talking about, check out channels 34, 56, 57 or 67 on Time Warner and you'll see all kinds of "quality" television such as the aforementioned programming. It's like watching a train wreck- you don't want to watch but you can't look away either.

U.N. GRIDLOCK HELL kicks off this morning as the United Nations General Assembly kicks into high gear. Traffic on the East Side of Manhattan will be affected with street closures throughout the day; President Obama continues his NYC visit, which always makes things chaotic around Manhattan especially. So practice patience; you going to need it.

DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS kicks off this evening with $1 mugs of Bud/Bud Light all night long!
