BACK TO "NORMAL"....

After the long holiday weekend where minimal relaxation took place, it's back to the old grind. Saturday night brought out a ton of visitors, both the dreaded bridge & tunnel variety as well as the expected out-of-towners, in for the weekend of holiday shopping. We also got hit with a unusually large contingent from Cornell University, in town for the hockey game vs Boston University at Madison Square Garden. Aside from the usual "amateur-night" antics that comes with the holidays, the night itself was relatively uneventful.

Yesterday's edition of BREW CREW SUNDAY went a lot better than I expected. The Sunday after a holiday tends to be a slow one with most of our regulars traveling and such. However, we ended up being pretty busy, thanks in part to our usual contingent of locals including THE CORNER BOYS POSSE, AFRIKA BAMBATTA, MR. LOW-KEY, T-BILL, SEAN JEAN, SD SUPER CHARGER and SEXY LEXY, just to name a few. With our usual ''games of chance" getting us through the afternoon, there were more than a few happy winners leaving the bar when all was said and done.

Then of course there were the DOLFANS, who turned out in full-force, bigger than expected for what should have been a slam-dunk win over the hapless Buffalo Bills. Someone, however, forgot to send the Bills that memo as they took it to the 'Fins, winning 31-14 and deflating their playoff hopes in the process. Not saying that Miami's eliminated from playoff contention, however, they didn't do themselves (or the DOLFANS) any favors either.

So with all of that going on and the ongoing saga of Tiger Woods dominating the bar talk, it was just like a regular Sunday afternoon of football fun.

Back to normal.

TONIGHT: Monday Night Football, NHL hockey and the ACC/BIG TEN CHALLENGE take center stage tonight with $1 mugs of BUD/BUD LIGHT/COORS LIGHT and BUD LIGHT GOLDEN WHEAT on tap ALL NIGHT LONG (as well as $2 all other domestic drafts)!

AND FINALLY: Today is the last day of November, which means it's the last day of MOVEMBER! To date, thanks to your kind generosity I've been able to raise $645.00 and my group, THE MO VAUGHN'S were able to raise a healthy $10, 691.00! Once again, we thank everyone for their support of Prostate/Testicular Cancer research and the awareness of Men's Health issues! If you haven't made a donation yet and would like to, simply click HERE and make your tax-deductible donation at the MOVEMBER Foundation web site. Special thanks to most recent contributors, T-BILL and BABY GIRL for their kind and generous donations!

That's It. That's All I Got.
