PUB TRIVIA TRIUMPH!

Last night's "Christmas Edition" of Pub Trivia turned out to be a huge success as 16 teams went head to head for a chance at bragging rights and a special $50 bar tab.

When the smoke cleared, this team, "Airtight Hermiones", successfully defended their title as "Trivia Champs" and claimed the $50 bar tab, the coveted "Trivia Cup" and bragging rights as the team to beat for another week. Great job!

Pub Trivia will take a brief hiatus for the holidays but will return Jan 6th!

TONIGHT: INDIANAPOLIS vs JACKSONVILLE (8pm). This week's edition of Thursday Night Football is an intriguing one on a number of levels. For starters, the Indianapolis Colts come into this matchup with absolutely NOTHING to play for... except a perfect record.

They've already clinched their division as well as home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That being said, you would expect their coaching staff to begin resting their starters to protect them for the playoffs. However, a wrinkle is added to the equation in that the Colts are undefeated and have a chance to go for history by gaining a perfect record. The last team to do that? The 1972 Miami Dolphins. Several teams have come close, most recently the New England Patriots of a couple of years ago, falling one game short: losing to the NY Giants in the Super Bowl.

Jacksonville, on the other hand, desperately needs to win this game as well as the rest of their games to have a shot at playoffs. Their goal is simple. Win out and they are in. If they lose, they will need a lot of help to get in. So you know that they will be motivated to win in front of a home crowd and will come at Indy with everything but the kitchen sink. The big question is, what will Indianapolis do? Catch the game tonight at Third and Long and find out. Indianapolis won the first meeting, 14-12.

THIRSTY THURSDAYS rules the night with $4 Coors Light/Sam Adams pints and $20 Miller Lite/Coors Light buckets (5-11pm).

That's It. That's All I Got.
