Last night we finally got a taste (albeit a small one) of winter when the major storm that had been carving up the nation reached the Northeast. The weather mavens had been talking about how strong this storm was and it was touch and go whether or not NYC would get hit with snow or heavy rains.
Well, at about midnight, trickles of rain began to fall and around 1am, the rains began to fall harder and harder and then.... we finally saw our first snowfall. Not piddly little flurries, mind you, but softball-size snowflakes that would temporarily blind you if it hit you in the eye. It was actually nice to watch.. from inside. Lucky for us Manhattanites, however, the temps proved to be too warm to allow the snow to stick as it eventually switched back over to rain. It's pretty messy outside right now but at least we finally got a taste of what's to come, especially with the warmer than normal November we had.

Within the last month, he's received $50,000 in fines; one fine was for his "faux-bribe" of $1 to a referee to change a call and most recently, a $30,000 fine for putting on a sombrero after scoring a touchdown.
