RECHARGING BATTERIES

After a hectic week which saw me average about 16 hours a day in and around the bar (including a whopping 19 hours on St. Patrick's Day), I finally get to have a brief respite (okay half a day) today before getting back behind the stick tonight. A\s beautiful a day it is outside, you'd think I would go out and take advantage of it. Instead, I am going to take the day to catch up on some more sleep before going back to work.

March Madness certainly lived up to its title, didn't it? Going into Sunday's games, I've already lost two of my Final Four teams, including my winner (Kansas). Disgusting. I'm sure I am not the only one that feels the same way. Ugh. On another note, if you haven't walked by our bar lately, take a minute to check out our windows on the East 35th Street side. BABY GIRL recreated the March Madness brackets on the windows and it really looks cool. It's definitely something different.

The Superhero Olympics blew through the bar yesterday afternoon and it was a pretty cool event. Patterned after "The Amazing Race", the Superhero Olympics comprised of teams of five, racing to different destinations where they would have to complete "tasks" in order to gain their next clue and directions to their next destination. Each team had to dress in costume in order to compete and some of the costumes were quite funny. It was a well run event and something that I would consider hosting again in the near future. Hell, I'd even participate in it! Good stuff.

Okay, that's it. I'm done blogging. My bed is calling my name. Enjoy the games today and swing by the bar tonight if you are in the neighborhood.

That's It. That's All I Got.
