FLEET WEEK HEATWAVE

It's Hump Day and not just any regular Wednesday, mind you; Today's going to be a scorcher of a day and not just because the Big Apple's about to become a baked apple pie. Besides the fact that the weather report calls for temps to rise above 90 degrees today, we're about to get invaded by throngs of military types, in town for FLEET WEEK.

As we speak, sailors from all over the world are sailing into New York Harbor and dropping anchor in our fair city for a week of activities, much to the delight of single ladies and military groupies everywhere. That should raise the heat level a few degrees, I'm sure. Single NYC guys, you may as well take a vacation for a week because when the sailor boys come to town, the ladies immediately flock to them like rock stars. Strange but true.

Last night's edition of DOLLAR DRAFT MADNESS was a good one with the bar teeming with young professionals getting their fill of cheap beers, plenty of hoops action on the TV's and getting an early start to the big holiday weekend. It's been a good week thus far and it should continue tonight with Pre-Memorial Day Pub Trivia tonight. I'm sure we'll get our fair share of sailor boys in tow along with our regular Pub Trivia crowd and that should make for a good night. I look forward to that.

We also got a visit from one of our former employees and a great friend of mine, MASTER THESPIAN. He was in town for the week and stopped by the old stomping grounds to say hi to the gang. He looks great and is doing very well for himself out on the Left Coast, where he has been for the last few years. We still keep in touch and I'm glad to see that he's happy with his decision to make that big move. It seems to be paying off for him and I couldn't be happier for him.

As I mentioned before, PUB TRIVIA is the main event tonight and we invite everyone to swing by for a night of pop culture trivia fun where you and your friends can win free bar tabs and cool bar swag! It's free to play and good times to be had. Registration begins at 7pm and fun starts at 8pm! $15 buckets of Miller High Life and $4 Mixed Well Drinks (for ladies) all night long! So bring your "A" game and show us what you got!

That's It. That's All I Got.

That chick in the green dress looks strangely familiar, almost like the chick I banged the last time I was in New York impersonating a sailor...
