PUB TRIVIA HIGHLIGHTS...

It never ceases to amaze me how good our Wednesdays continue to be.  Even with the crazy weather we've had so far this season, the folks still make a point of coming out each week for Pub Trivia.  I don't know what the true attraction is for Pub Trivia; Whether it's the competitive spirit of the event,  the prizes that are up for grabs each week, or simply a time to blow off steam with the co-workers, we still manage to pull in a good number of people each and every week.  And last night was more of the same...

Always a fun, competitive night, it looks like last night's edition of Pub Trivia went to a "Chug Off" for first place, which is always an event within itself. I never quite understood the point of a chug-off, but the kids seem to like it so whatever. It's better than having the two teams rain blows on each other in a duel to the death... or is it? Hmmmm..

In any case, I attribute much of our success to our hosts, BRAD and BIG RED for keeping the topics fresh and entertaining, and to LEE ANN (aka "BABY GIRL") who works diligently behind the scenes to ensure that each week's edition of Pub Trivia runs smoothly.  And OF COURSE, I would be remiss not to mention the stellar work of the bartenders, SCUBA STEVE and AMY SMART  for keeping the patrons happy and lubricated on a weekly basis.  Job well done.  Check out the rest of the fun pics on our FACEBOOK page.

While you're there, check out the post regarding our upcoming "Anti-Valentine's Day" event on February 14th.  It seems that it stirred up plenty of comments about the holiday itself (pros, cons, etc).  What are your thoughts on Valentine's Day?  Do you think it's a legitimate holiday?  Feel free to share your thoughts.

FOODIE FAN ALERT: I'm now following the GASTRONOMISTA blog.  Who writes this blog you ask?  It's written by those cute foodie chicks currently seen on that Blackberry commercial now airing on TV- the one where they bounce from restaurant to restaurant all over NYC trying out dishes.  It's a nice read.  Check it out.

TONIGHT: "MOLSON TWIN THURSDAYS" is the theme for the night, with Molson Canadian bottles being served up, 2/$7.00 (5-10pm);  Match that up with plenty of NHL games on the TV's, including Pittsburgh vs L.A. Kings, NY Islanders vs Montreal, NJ Devils vs Toronto & Philadelphia vs Carolina.  Non hockey fans get to partake in some NBA action (Boston vs L.A. Lakers, 8pm) and there is some NCAA hoops up for grabs as well (St. John's vs UConn, 7pm).

We're also hosting a DUVEL GREEN Tasting Event tonight, with samples of the great tasting beer from Belgium being offered, along with a rep on site to answer any questions you may have about the product.  If you haven't had an opportunity to try out Duvel Green yet, tonight is a great chance to do so!

That's it.  That's All I got.

Cheers!
