Super Bowl XLV at Third and Long NYC

And the countdown begins! Who's going to win "The Big Game"? Well, if you've been living or dying by my predictions during this year's playoffs, you're probably in the poorhouse by now. However, since there's only one game left, I have a 50% chance of being right. So that being said, I think the winner of this year's Super Bowl will be.......

Green Bay 34 Pittsburgh 31. Don't ask why. Just a gut feeling (and we're talking a big gut here). Take my predictions any way you want. Hopefully for once, I'll look like a genius!

Big sports weekend all around.   Aside from the main event of the weekend (Super Bowl XLV), we also have on tap the start of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament on Saturday.  This is a yearly tournament featuring National Teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. A popular event, BBC America will be carrying selected matches throughout the tournament and we'll carry their feed here.  This Saturday:'s match: FRANCE vs SCOTLAND (11:30am, Saturday)

We also have on tap (as if you didn't know by now), UFC 126: SILVA vs BELFORT (10pm Saturday night).  A pretty stacked card on tap, it should be a good night for UFC fans!  ($10 cover charge).

And if that wasn't enough to whet the appetite, this coming Monday night is the start of the Beanpot Hockey Tournament, featuring hockey teams from Boston University, Boston College, Harvard and Northeastern University.  We'll be carrying the BC vs BU match live (7pm).
