ON THE HORIZON...

The phone's been ringing off the hook of late with inquires about fantasy football drafts and airing of pre-season games.  Just another sure sign that the Summer of 2011 is almost over and the REAL season is upon us.

Yes, boys and girls, it's time for some FOOTBALL!

Tonight marks the official start of pre-season with a slate of five games on tap.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that we'll only get to see one of those games (San Diego vs Seattle).  Why?  Because for some strange reason, our NFL Sunday Ticket package, the one that we pay oodles and oodles of bucks for, doesn't allow for pre-season games.  So unless a game is being aired on one of the major networks (FOX, ESPN, CBS, NBC), we're shit out of luck.  And since we're known as the Dolphins bar for NYC, I'm prepared for all of the grumbling and complaints from our Dolfans regulars.  But what can you do?  It's out of my hands until the real season starts.  Trust me, it vexes me as much as it does them.  Oh well, we'll just have to roll with it.

In the meantime, we've tinkered with our beer rotation again and we're set with the current lineup of beers on tap:
