October has descended upon us and with that, a myriad of possibilities. From sporting events, parties, fundraisers and of course, Halloween, this is the month to be festive! Some of the things to look forward to:
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Group Stage Qualifiers dot the calendar, starting with matches this Tues/Wed.
MLB PLAYOFFS: The NY Yankees will represent NYC in the upcoming playoffs in the quest for a spot in this year's World Series. The madness begins this weekend!
NFL: With games being played on Monday, Thursday and Sundays, it seems like you don't get a chance to catch your breath! Bears vs Cowboys tonight, Cardinals vs Rams on Thursday night.
NBA: Training camps set to open in the very near future, with the big guys set to tip off near the end of the month!
NHL: Who knows? Opening night should be Oct. 11th, but with the NHL Lockout currently taking place... stay tuned.
NCAA FOOTBALL: Conference games in full swing across the country, which means great rivalry games every week.
NASCAR: The Chase for the Cup is pretty intense with eight races left. Should be a slobberknocker to the very end.
HALLOWEEN: Look for some great ghoulish fun events to take place towards the end of the month!
